CPU Architecture Verification Engineer

Position Title: CPU Architecture Verification Engineer
Location: Austin, TX or remote/work from home
Full-time: Salary + Benefits + Bonuses

About the Project:
• As an Architectural Design Verification Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for top-down verification of CPU's, starting from Architectural specification. You will verify that our implementation of the CPU functions correctly and complies with the architectural specification.

• Responsible for verification of ARM architectural features and compliance of CPU to ARM architectural requirements
• Work closely with RTL, DV, CPU Architects and Software team
• Develop Detailed test plans and coverage plans
• Develop verification environment, such as directed tests, coverage, test benches, and assertions
• Execute test plan from initial feature bring-up to feature closure
• Use and tune random test generators to achieve verification and coverage goals
• Triage, debug and root cause test failures
• Work with the micro-architecture DV and Design teams to verify the bug fixes

Minimum Qualifications: 
• Deep knowledge of a CPU architecture (x86, RISCV, ARM, Power), preferably ARM
• Understanding of Modern CPU Micro-architecture (superscalar processors, memory consistency and coherency)
• Experience with assembly and C/C++ programming
• Experience with RTL for troubleshooting and simulation
• Experience with scripting in Perl and/or Python
• Experience with using Random Test Generators to generate test cases
• MS Degree in CS or EE with 5+ years of processor verification experience
