Job Title: Sr Physical Design Engineer
Work Status: US Citizen OR Permanent resident required.
Location: Cupertino CA (Onsite)
As a member of the Encore Semi physical design team, you will perform various types of physical design tasks such as Floor planning, Place & Route, Clock Tree Synthesis, and Power grid at both chip and block level. You'll work with the rest of the design team and our customer for the implementation of the device. The design is a state-of-the art ASIC device implemented in 4 nm FinFET technology.
Requirements:
BSEE with 7 or more years of directly related experience
MSEE or Ph.D. with 5 or more years of related experience
Experience with Cadence and Synopsys physical design tools
Deep understanding of standard RTL to GDS flows and methodology, synthesis, floorplanning, P&R, timing closure, ECO, DFT, and IR-drop
