About the Team:
Join the growing Encore Semi Front-End Development team to collaborate with customers on the verification of CPUs and CPU SOCs based on innovative new core architectures.  Joining the team, you will build on a background of CPU core development to build unit level environments to stress the functional correctness of complex implementations.  You will join a larger CPU core development team to deliver next generation computing cores.
About the Project:
As a member of the verification team you will work on advanced  High Speed SerDes IP. Your role will be to use Analog Mixed-signal verification techniques to verify the correct functionality of the IP sub-blocks as well as the integrated SerDes. You will assist with coding and regressions.  The right candidate must be comfortable learning new tools, methodologies, and technology. If you have experience in Analog Mixed-signal Verification and debug of high speed analog designs, joining the Encore Semi Verification team could be a good match for you.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Proven functional verification track record verifying digital and/or mixed signal designs, with at least 8 years of experience
• Expertise with high speed serial link designs, architecture, and calibrations
• Experience creating mixed-signal behavioral models and using them to model analog circuit behavior in a digital (RTL) simulation
• Expertise with PCIe, DDR, Ethernet and other communication and bus stack protocols that use serial links
• Expertise in implementing test cases to verify functional operation of design
• Experience developing mixed signal behavioral models
• Expertise in maintaining, managing, and debugging of simulation of regressions of many model configurations
• Ability to work independently and with a team to solve problems in a timely manner on a schedule
Valued Qualifications:
• Architecture understanding of High Speed SerDes
• Experience modeling in Verilog-A or Verilog-AMS (wreal) and connecting that to a digital simulation in Verilog, System Verilog, C/C++ model is valuable
• Ability to develop and bring-up AMS simulation environments
• Ability to work with both circuits and digital design teams
• Preparing test plans and holding design verification reviews
• Experience with PLL’s, ADC, clock buffers, TX, RX
Education Requirements:
• Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
• Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
