About the Team:
Join the growing Encore Semi Front-End Development team to drive RTL development for custom control logic for HW accelerators with a focus on optimizing for very low power and area.  Building on your background in Logic Design, you will own a segment of the SOC working closely with Verification and Physical Design teams to deliver highly optimized products.

About the Project:
As part of growing our Logic Development team, and in support of a customer partnerships, we are hiring experienced Logic Designers to optimize custom control logic for very low power and low area applications.  Work as a team of Logic Developers to assist the Verification team in debug of failures and making necessary changes in the design while optimizing the RTL based on Physical Design feedback.  The design is a highly optimized multiple clock domain SOC to process and accelerate sensor data for multiple applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Logic / RTL Design experience with full custom control and state machine designs  
• Experience working with multiple clock domains and dealing with asynchronous events
• Strong experience debugging failures in existing designs and correcting them while maintaining functionality and achieving low power and small area goals
• Experience creating control logic to manage and process data from multiple silicon-based sensors including data from analog sources
• Working closely with Verification and Physical Design engineers across multiple geographies
• 7+ years of RTL / Logic Design experience including working with Design Verification

Preferred Qualifications:
• RTL Development in VHDL or Verilog
• Experience with synthesis and timing analysis, especially modifying RTL to achieve specific area, frequency, power targets
• Experience working with Cadence based RTL and Physical Design tools

Education Requirements:
• Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
• Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
