About the Team:
Join the growing Encore Semi Analog Mixed-signal Design Team to collaborate with customers on the design of state-of-the art SoCs and IPs based on new innovative architectures. Joining the team, you will build on a background of both digital and analog development. You will join a larger AMS development team to deliver next generation SoCs and processors.

About the Project:
As part of growing our Analog & Mixed-Signal Design team, and in support of a customer partnership, we are hiring experienced Senior Analog Circuit Designers.  You’ll be a member of a team developing advanced (sub 10ps) SerDes. The Analog Designer will assist with development of analog circuits within the IP block, with specific emphasis on high-speed receivers and signal-conditioning/equalization techniques.  In this role, you will also contribute to simulations of advanced circuits and systems, as well as mixed-signal system integration, simulations bring-up and debug.  A successful candidate is creative and enjoys working independently, but with an introspective critical viewpoint of conventional analog circuit designs and techniques, to contribute to team goals, and is comfortable learning new tools, methodologies and technology.

Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 7 years of high-speed analog design experience
• Experience with PCIe3/4, high-speed PLLs or any other high-speeds IOs running at 25Gbps+
• Experience with analog system modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Verilog-A/AMS
• Experience with Cadence (CDE) and Spectre simulation tools.  Familiarity with MDL scripting a plus
• Experience with Analog/Logic mixed-signal verification such as AMS/real modelling
• Experience with receiver design techniques for high-speed SerDes
• Experience with analysis of high-speed analog circuits, particular knowledge of jitter analysis and control - this is a key skill requirement
• Experienced with developing specifications and design documentation
• Design activity is for within FX14 technology node but experience with 32nm and 22nm is acceptable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a tightly-coupled team are a must

Valued Qualifications:
• Architecture understanding of high-speed SerDes designs and critical design parameters
• High-speed SerDes design experience on 56Gbps and above is a plus
• Work experience with FIN-based technologies (Intel 14/22nm, TSMC 16FF, Samsung 10nm) is a plus

Education Requirements:
• Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
• Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
